The choice depends on the project’s complexity, stage and objective or simply on the requests of its Customers.
The 2D and 3D Structural Design Drawings and Models are developed in accordance to Classification Rules for Classification Societies Approvals.
2D Structural Design:
The 2D Structural Design involves creating flat drawings that represent the structures in two dimensions.

3D Structural Design:
The 3D Structural Design involves creating a three-dimensional model that represents all structural components of a vessel or platform in real space.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for the Structural Analysis;

Weight and center-of-gravity analysis.
